Ferrari Unveils 2027 Amalfi Spider: Performance and Luxury Combined

5

Ferrari has revealed the convertible version of its high-performance Amalfi model, the 2027 Spider. The new vehicle maintains the coupe’s speed while adding the flexibility of open-air driving. Here’s a breakdown of the key features:

Retractable Roof Design

The Amalfi Spider features a soft-top roof that retracts in just 13.5 seconds, even at speeds of up to 37 mph. Ferrari engineered the roof to pack down tightly, occupying only 8.7 inches of space when stowed and taking up roughly three cubic feet of trunk volume.

The roof will come in six different colors, including two distinct fabric options: a standard weave and a “technical” style that gives the fabric a shimmering effect in sunlight.

New Exterior Color

The Spider model showcases a new paint color, Rosso Tramonto, which is exclusive to this vehicle.

Unchanged Powertrain

The Amalfi Spider retains the same engine setup as the coupe. It pairs a twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V-8 with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Ferrari claims the Spider maintains the coupe’s acceleration, reaching 62 mph in 3.3 seconds.

The Spider is only around 200 pounds heavier than the coupe, which is a negligible difference in performance.

Interior Details

The interior is nearly identical to the coupe’s: a central touchscreen, a digital gauge cluster for the driver, and a smaller passenger-side screen.

The 2027 Ferrari Amalfi Spider merges the high-speed performance of the coupe with the luxury of a convertible. With its fast-folding roof and powerful engine, this model is designed for drivers who want the best of both worlds.
