Nio has expanded its global reach with the launch of the right-hand drive (RHD) Firefly electric vehicle in Thailand. Priced at $24,500 (799,000 Thai Baht), the compact EV is positioned as a city-focused option, building on Nio’s earlier entries into Singapore and various European markets.

Safety and Availability
The Firefly comes standard with Level 2 assisted driving features, including automatic parking, adaptive cruise control, and lane change assist. It has earned 5-star safety ratings from both C-NCAP and Euro NCAP, and boasts a tight turning radius of just 4.75 meters.
Thonburi Bluesky Co., Ltd., the official importer and distributor of NIO in Thailand, is handling sales and distribution. The Firefly is currently on display at the Bangkok International Motor Show, running from March 23 to April 30, 2026.
Nio’s expansion into Thailand marks another step in the company’s ambitious global EV strategy. The Firefly’s competitive pricing and feature-rich design make it a strong contender in the growing Southeast Asian electric vehicle market.
