Infiniti is expanding its lineup with the all-new 2027 QX65, a two-row crossover designed to offer a more stylish alternative in the crowded SUV market. Launching this summer, the QX65 will be available in three trims: Luxe, Sport, and Autograph. This addition is particularly important because Infiniti currently offers only two models, making the QX65 a crucial step in broadening its appeal.
Performance and Powertrain
The QX65 will be powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 268 horsepower and 286 pound-feet of torque. All models come standard with all-wheel drive and a nine-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle is capable of towing up to 6,000 pounds when properly equipped, making it versatile for both daily driving and occasional hauling needs.
Design and Features
Infiniti’s latest design language, “Artistry in Motion,” is evident in the QX65’s fastback silhouette. Notable features include a three-dimensional grille, an illuminated emblem, and a new Sunfire Red paint option inspired by the Nissan GT-R’s Regal Red. Inside, all trims include dual 12.3-inch displays powered by Google Built-In, wireless phone charging, Android Auto/Apple CarPlay compatibility, tri-zone climate control, and a power liftgate.
Trim Levels and Pricing
- Luxe: Starting at $56,990 (including destination), the base trim includes 20-inch wheels, LED lights, and an illuminated grille emblem.
- Sport: Priced at $57,235, the Sport trim adds exclusive 20-inch black alloy wheels, a trim-specific grille, and gloss-black exterior trim. The interior features a graphite headliner and gloss-black accents.
- Autograph: The top-tier model starts at $64,135 and includes 21-inch machined-alloy wheels, satin chrome window surrounds, and a black-painted roof. Inside, it boasts semi-aniline leather massaging seats, wood accents, heated rear seats, and a quilted dashboard.
The QX65 offers 35.8 cubic feet of storage behind the second-row seats, expanding to 67.7 cubic feet with the seats folded down. It’s also worth noting that the QX65 trims are priced competitively against Infiniti’s larger QX60 model, with several QX65 trims being cheaper than their QX60 counterparts.
The 2027 Infiniti QX65 is a welcome addition to the brand’s lineup, offering a sleek design and modern features in a competitive segment. Its strategic pricing and well-equipped trims position it as a strong contender for buyers seeking a stylish and capable two-row SUV.
